Twelve inches of solid hardwood have been engraved with the dragon and linked together with a 9.75 inch Kusari (steel chain). The chain links swivel Kontoh are made of steel and fastened with steel hardware. The Kontei (bottom) of the nunchaku is rounded along with the Kontoh.
