I have put this knife to a test and fire this knife over 30+ times and not once has it tripped. The drop point blade on this originator offers a black anodize finish with a strip of silver on both sides with blood grooves. The blade comes oiled and features a sharpened edge. The blade securely fits into the handle by pushing back on the silver Double Action button which is located on the spine. The handle features a red lacquer finish with a dominating blue swirl inserts on both sides offering a secure grip.
