The only downside I see to this would be that the shipping of my products turned out a bit odd. I recieved 3 of the items by mail within about a week of ordering. I then recieved another product from my order about a week after I recieved the first, but this time it was by UPS. At the time of writing this review, I still have not recieved my final product. The company has done a good part on letting me track my orders, but it is in the delivery persons hands now. Overall this company offers many great products at reasonable prices. If the shipping could be streamlined a bit more this would help out in the long run. |

The merchant says his site is protected by Safe Shopper which is to guard against buyers using bogus credit cards but it must not work very well because they wont let you purchase items and then ship to another address so you should be aware of this. If you are buying for someone else, as we were, you will have to receive the items and then re-ship. I dont object to that policy but it is not stated and the order blank gives you the option of sending elsewhere. Only after my order was placed was there notification of this. Also, there was a problem with an item being out of stock. I wanted to cancel that item and repeated emails (at least four or five) asking for confirmation of the cancellation and subsequent crediting to my account went unanswered. Basically, I was being ignored until I finally called them at which point a refund was quite speedy. Getting the number, by the way, was a trick in itself since this merchant uses a P.O. Box and includes no telephone number on the website for contact. Lack of direct contact information will act as a caution for me from now on when dealing with other internet merchants. Make sure there is a way to contact them directly and that their information is not so anonymous. I think if there are NO complications with your order, this is a fine place to do business but if you have any special issues or need to talk to someone, I doubt this outfit would be my first choice. |
