The sharp bayonet blade is made of stainless steel and coated black. The spine is partially tapered near the end for superior piercing ability. It springs open easily at the touch of a button, but also has a safety lock to prevent unintended opening. In addition to the brass riveted Pink Pearl inserts, this knife has steel handle rivets.
